DayProof is a web application for personal organisation that lets users record and visualise their international travel. All information displayed (day counts, alerts and thresholds) is indicative and does not constitute professional advice of any kind. DayProof is not a tax, accounting, legal or financial adviser, and final responsibility for data submitted to any authority rests solely with the user.

The 183-day threshold shown by DayProof is a general reference used in many jurisdictions as an indicator of tax residency. Actual rules vary significantly depending on the country, bilateral double-taxation treaties, type of income, the taxpayer's centre of vital interests and personal situation. The display of alerts based on this threshold does not imply that it is the rule applicable to the user's specific case.

DayProof uses optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence to extract data from travel documents. These technologies can produce errors in dates, airports, flight numbers or incomplete data. The user must always verify extracted data before relying on it.

The "Fiscal residency report" PDF generated by DayProof is a personal record document, not an official tax filing. The signature block included is for the holder's personal use and does not constitute certification by DayProof. This document must not be submitted as official evidence to tax authorities without independent verification by a qualified professional.

DayProof, its operator and affiliates accept no liability for errors, omissions, OCR or AI failures, incorrect day counts, software defects, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. This exclusion applies even where the error is attributable to a failure of the service itself.
